Yeh, good old Steve is a resource for snooker wisdom

At least Mark A got that last frame, so this could still become the epic match I actually expected
Ten reds and not a colour...

    • I've never liked Selby, to be honest with you, maybe it's because of his freakingly terrible body movement whilst playing a shot

Still, he totally deserved to be ahead so far, and seems to be playing well under pressure in Wembley, so, I have no reason to be cheering for Allen, actually
      All the way Mark J!!

Selbs beat Ding 6-1, now leads 3-1. I wouldn't wonder if he wins his 2nd title here

                  • Good break from Allen btw. Hope he builds on it after MSI.

Had Hendry and Murphy been in this part, they would be strong candidates for a final spot, in my opinion. At least, they left that kind of an impression over me with their play..

I know the scorelines. Which doesn't tell a whole lot here, Ding was poor. Allen was poor in the beginning. Selby has been.. well.. ok. Nothing spectacular though.

But scorelines can be misleading. Look at Day, right on the heels of a whitewash win, he got thrashed by a mediocre Maguire

I wouldn't write in big coloured letters though there are far too many of thoes

I'm enjoying the match it was a bit sloppy in the first framer but after that there were some nice breaks and great safety exchanges good stuff
