  • What makes you think he didn't care?

When he hit the brown to win, he clenched his fist, something he dosen't usually do when he wins.

I guess you are referring to his interview?

      he's such a liar!
Yes and also what an inspiration to the viewing public he is.
All of kids and aspiring players watching the game and a fantastc match it was, and then to realise afterwards that the best player in the game really doesnt care whether he wins or loses. Geez isnt that going to inspire young players to pick up a cue and head for their local club :snooker:

the interview yes. It is clear that John and Steve (especially Steve) are disgusted with his attitude to the game- I wish one day one of them would have the guts to say that to his face- Steves expression at the start of the interview was a clear indicator as to how ungrateful he thinks Ronnie is.

Don't worry, his comebacks are inspiring enough to whoever that one should always keep fighting.

Does he want his voice to be there just in case they repeat the match or someone puts that on youtube?
              It would be John Virgo.

I for one like he's not all that politically correct press-polite muppet.

But then I do agree Hearn and you might have some point here... I think that attitude is helping so I even hope he is able to succesfully keep it; but could as well just keep it to himself.

Let's wait for Monique to show up now

Are you stupid? If an aspiring player gets the impression that winning matches and tournaments means nothing, then what is the point? Lets just say it is rather demotivating when the money has drifted out of the game and its best player makes it obvious on live TV that he hates the game and would probably rather be doing anything else.

                  • I think young players if serious would pay more attention to what he does on the table rather than what he says afterwards. You can tell by watching that match how much the game means to him, i've never seen him react like that unless its a WC or a 147.
