lol I can see what he means, say you need all the reds with blacks to tie, all the reds are on cushions except one, and the black is sitting in baulk where it can't be potted, you'd be pretty unlikely to win the frame. You arn't allwoed to concede then, but you could pot the last red, the play the blue (snookers are now required) and then legally concede after that... Some players just want to get on with the next frame while they are flowing, but it does seem strange not to play for them in the final.

2010 will be a very good start for both players. Selby became the first player seal the title for this year and he is the man to watch in the next event, Welsh Open. Meanwhile Ronnie still proving his fans that he still can grab some titles this year, perhaps. As a semifinalst in UK champ and being a runner up in the Masters should boost his perfomance.
If anything goes right, another ROS-Selby battle in the Welsh Open semi. Let's wait and see...

Looks like Selby is the new Hunter, given his exceptional record in the Masters and this comeback. Ronnie kinda threw it away with that green and that bad break-off in the decider, but Selby still had to do well to finish it. Interesting post-match interview by Ronnie on the WSA site, he definaltely doesn't enjoy losing.

That was AMAZING!
I'm still in shock this morning! I'm soo soo pleased for him, I hope he continues this and does well in the welsh and china and the worlds too That was an incredible final.

As many have said already im still in disbelief that he attempted the pot on THAT green. A good safety shot on it and with a lead he had of about 15 points the Masters wouldve been his. It actually defies belief he went for it. Im pretty disappointed he decided to pot it.Always play snooker with a smile on your face...You never know when you'll pot your last ball.
