I dont know how you can compare maguire and hendry on having a similar attitude...

Nowhere near alike apart from both being scottish like....

Towards the game, I don't mean the temperament. I'm not sure if I can explain it to you...

Yes we all do but when you watch from a tv prospective there was shots he did which was rediclous when clearly there was a better alternative.

You mean his semi against Selby? He wasn't on form, he played many bad shots there, no doubt about that.

Many people thought myself included thought maguire was the next big thing but you can see he hasnt got the right temperament for the game, soon as he misses a few his head drops. I cant see him ever winning the world championship.

It seems to me, that he often finds it very hard to realise, when he has to rely on his B-game. He plays the same way no matter if he is playing well or bad, and then of cause on an off day he runs out of position and takes too difficult shots on.

I remember when he lost to Joe Perry at the cruicible in 2008, and afterwards he said that it was only in the last frame he realised that he could actually loose. I had been sitting all evening thinking that he went for far too many risky shots.

Yeah I agree on that post.

He definitely needs to start bucking his ideas up or he is going to get nowhere.
