He would have probably rang the police and asked Ronnie to be docked two frames
Would almost be interested to see that
Affraid though that instead of it being a lesson, could end up in further callings...

Ronnie can get away with anything now his second father is the games governing bodys chairman.

Did you see how Barry Hearn congratulated Ronnie by embracing him. All Mark got from Barry was "well played".

He didn't even deserve a "well played Mark"

Any other sport would raise a conflict of interests issue.

          Quite my thoughts...

Except that I do not expect any conflicts of interest affecting on-the-table action.

Ronnie lost and people who dislikes him are out attacking him....if he said what one said, he said it to himself, imo.....but its a good bashing theme....so lets do it.....

That does not make it acceptable but at least it's not abusing the opponent. And as I already mentioned he has been warned and fined a few times for it.
You must be quite a mind reader.

Whatever he said in his seat wasn't directed at himself for missing the difficult yellow. It wasn't malicious either, so why the big fuss? But Ronnie was right to question the Shark at the table about the snooker. He had no control over that happening

The BBC TV coverage clearly showed Mark having a friendly conversation with Barry after he'd paraded the trophy.

I know I saw that it was just the huge difference in the way he greeted Ronnie and then Mark. He acted as though Ronnie had won and I'm sure he would have prefered that result.

Well yeah he could then produce another ton of articles before next years Masters on the defending champion. Gonna be more difficult now, eh.

He's been even warned and fined for it. It must be said it was rather explicit!
There is no doubt about it was aimed at selby, they dont like each other ronnie was quoted in the sunday people as saying selby was one of the most boring people he ever met. you can understand the tension given the situation and i for one dont mind the language i love seeing the players true feelings an emotion rather than quite no personalities it makes them more endeering. ok he is still rude but give him a break he is a genius after all and we expect it by now just the way he is, cant wait for the rematch!

I can't comment on what ronnie said as I did not hear it. But I would like to add my two bobs worth. I love watching ronnie an absolutly outstanding player (may be the best ever). But thats where it stops for me, when he's not playing he just talks total crap.
sorry if this is a bit harsh but I feel it needs to be said.

Both come equipped with sharp teeth. Selby will tuck into any fish and Ronnie will carry his Dracula replica in his pocket in case the Shark bites first
