I'm not going, however the tournament starts on my Birthday
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

Mitsu do you know if they have any effecient international airport near that side? I guess by mid-end August the weather there should be rather contented

Belfast has it's own international airport but it mostly services European/US airlines. If you're thinking of coming from China you might have to do so via a bigger English airport like Heathrow/Stanstead, or possibly Dublin.

The weather should be alright in August, but it's never wise to rely on completely it in the UK. Yesterday I was sat outside working on my laptop in the sun, and then out of nowhere came a thunderstorm (the laptop got rather wet, but luckily still works). Today it's bright and sunny again .

          Thanks Robert!
i am a Chinese but live in France now. I have never been to Uk, hope can go to some snooker venue in very near future. Anyway will check if it is convenient enough to fly from Paris to Belfast.

Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding. I did think coming from China would be a long way to travel for a minor tournament. That'd be real dedication to the sport . You shouldn't have a problem getting directly to Belfast from a major French airport, but if Dublin's easier (Dublin's airport is rather larger then Belfast's) it's only a few hours on the train away.

Hi all, sadly i can't go to the Northern Ireland Trophy, as much as i would like to. Yet i am determined to go to my first live event some time this season, probably the premiere league and maybe a few others (fingers crossed). Though if anybody is fortunate enough to go, i hope you have a great time. I'll have to settle for good old eurosports (if they show it)
