One shout every now and then isn't the end of the world, but shouting "Come on Ronnie" when the other player is in the middle of making a break, is just plain unacceptable.
I think Alan Chamberlain should've dealt with them much more strictly.
I think its time this Alan Chamberlain quit refereeing hes a nice chap but lets the crowd get carried away to much

Yes those were the shouts that annoyed me. Someone shouted "c'mon Ronnie" when Fergel just came out of position.. awful.
Well anyway, nicely done Fergel.. I'm a bit disappointed but not overly surprised.
I think the shouts must have seemed exaggerated on TV, because I didn't think there were that many at all. In fact, there were quite a few people shouting for Fergal.
Mark Allen did look a bit nervous in parts of the match (understandable), and his cue action is really poor IMO, he is just stabbing the ball, not smooth at all. Though when he's on form, like he is now, great to watch. I think Fergal has a very good chance of reaching the final.
firstly, well done Fergal. great win, and very determined snooker. great last break.
WRT the main shouter(s)...there was one guy who on tv was very loud, and he shouted out at least 2 times when Ronnie wasnt at the table, the latter when Fergal was mid break, and it was particularly loud, but i think AC, the ref, didnt make a big issue due to seeing Fergals reaction. The look on Fergals face to me said - "lets just get on with it" - and he continued the break. im Fergal paused and looked at the ref to show being unhappy, then i reckon AC would have spoke out.
hats off to Fergal who just got on with the job and didnt let someone who couldnt time their shouts worse get to him, and also for not making a big issue of it. (im sure if it continued AC would have intervened, as hes done so in the past)
Well done, Fergal, for not getting put off by the Circus O'Sullivan (by that I don't mean ROS personally, but the whole thing surrouding his performances, from not exactly being very predictable, to loud fans, to the hype around ROS etc), but for doing his thing, playing his own game and for reaching the semi
Who'd have expected another qualifier in the final? Well, probably a lot of people actually. And one semi all-Irish (granted only one from NI) as well! Can Fergal or Mark win it? I think they can.
