woheeeee! Where are the Robertson fans
Finally a game on the board
I wouldn't say I'm a huuuge fan of the Thunda from Down Unda, but as nobody has stepped forwards as of yet: What is required of me in this situation? Should I faint? Squee? Dance and sing? Open my Glenlivet 15? (As if! It took John to win the Worlds for me to have a go at the other bottle.)
On a more serious note: I do expect Neil to do a lot better in Belfast, now that he's "been there, done that" with trying to defend a title. He did seem to settle down quite nicely after a few frames, whereas Cope never did. I had hoped for a better and more even match, but that's snooker for you
No need to minimize Robertson here. He is one of the most attacking players and with ROS one of the most exciting players to watch. I have seen recent worldchamps playing more boring matches...
it will be difficult for williams....but i hope that he will play on a decent level...greene is not easy to beat...but some marks frames from aberdeen gives me hope....
He would have slept just fine mate. It was a miracle clearance by Allen from all accounts, especially the pink so while it's not a good feeling to lose he could do nothing about it.

agreed snooky. hes not got the best reputation on internet forums, but hes honest, and if Allen done well, hed be the first to say so, same as if he was lucky.
Yes but still, he lost the game and he will be slipping down the rankings.. He needs to win matches.
i think the point was that "everyone" loses matches and Dott wont be crying over it, even though he would be dissappointed. he would still know when someone has played well against him, or "pulled a rabbit from a hat finish" in a match. doubt hell be sleepless
