Well. You never know. They may take the whole morning for 4 frames and being rolled on again after the evening matches . Early waking up, so good night.

No need for late night, they play tomorrow morning session
Yea. We should have a forum pub for this. A decent pint is the only way to improve on this
pub sounds splendid... some litres of cider would make this alot better for me... gosh.. come on mark... clinch that one and let me go to sleep... PLEASE... atleast one leicester boy simply has to go through...

So yet another O'Sullivan/Carter match. Last three were pretty much one-way streets for Ronnie. Last three I remember: the 2005 WCH Last 16 match, the 2007 Masters first round and the 2007 China Open.
I have a feeling Carter will have a very, very strong word to say about all this. And having seen some long potting (or rather...not ), I think it's going to be very, very close.
I don't know about anyone else but this tournament has been bloody crap so far. Its taking too long to get down to business end of the tournament and when it does its over in a flash because the matches aren't spread out. I would prefer 3 days to play the last 48 and last 32 and 2 days for the last 16 rather than 1.

i totally agree, the way they are doing we only get to see two matches on tv out of the 8 last 16 matches... if they are not planning to have a few tv tables, they should only allow 32 at the venue rather than 48.

My bet is that Ali will get to 4 first, and then he'll just stagnate and let Ronnie have the rest of the frames. Yes, here I go again, being a pessimist. Wonder where that came from?
@Alex: There have been some boring matches, the coverage has been somewhat lacking, but bloody crap? No. I agree that the format might not be the optimal one. For one I'd like longer matches (but then Selbz and Hawkins would probably still be playing). I really miss frame scores so that at at least could pretend to have an idea how the players are doing, even if I can't watch.
