Very dissapointing to see I think there is only 1 TV table at this tournament?
I bet someone like Hendry hates playing his matches which are not on tv
Also though, do you get the feeling that small ranking tournaments dont really mean that much after a fashion, theres no sense of occation like any of the BBC tournaments and you can just see some of the very top players are not particulary bothered about this tournament.
I think best of 9s are ok but make the quarter finals best of 11 as well as the semis, would be a good improvement. An extra 2 frames doesnt sound much but it is quite a big difference really, look at how the match panned out with Murphy and O Sulivan in the GP semi, wouldnt of been any near as good if it was best of 9.
Steve wont give in, but if he goes 4-0 down against Ebbo i cant see him coming back to win (i like both players and dont have a preference as to who goes through)
any decent breaks in the Robbo match (which ive not concentrated on the score too much)?
4 - 0 for Ebdon in a minimum of time. Meaning even tactical he can't be stopped by Davis. Strong breaks (> 50) of course by Ebdon each time he gets at the table.

Am I the only one who is amused by Ebdon and Davis going faster than McCulloch and Robertson? I haven't really paid much attention to the McC/Robertson match, but haven't noticed any sizeable breaks, whereas Ebdon has had several 50+ ones. Davis had one around 40, no?
Well, some say McCulloch isn't a fast player Anyway, I am not too surprised by the fact that Ebdon vs Davis match is going faster, as far as I can see Ebdon is making good breaks and not missing much - so not much of a tactical battle.
Nicely done by Ebdon. It's a good start to the season for him, two quarters already. I expected a closer match, but never mind, Ebdon is a favourite of mine and I hope he continues to do well. This is how he should always play in best of nines.
Is the Ding/Maguire match on a TV table. This match is mouth watering compared to the rest of the draw. That would make a fantastic world final.
according to worldsnooker.com, Ronnie is playing on table 1, which is the televised one. Ding and Maguire play on table 2. Could be a quality match - but so can be either Ronnie's match or Hendry vs Murphy IMHO.
