    • Ryan Day seems to be making a good comeback effort against Mark Allen. He was down 3-1 at the interval, and it's now 3-3. That having been said, me pressing 'reply' coincided with end of break for him in the seventh frame, at 23.

      C'mon Ryan!

Barry Hawkins is working hard too, looks like 2-2 on that table, after he was 2-0 down to Fergal O'Brien.

Edit: I should really have kept my mouth shut. Allen won 5-3.

Barry and FOB have just reached 2-3. I think Barry enjoys staying up late
Das war ein FLUKE! Ein Glückstreffer!

And then it's the unwritten rule that the maker of a 147 does not win the tournament. Except when it's in the deciding frame of the final, of course.
Anyway unwritten rules are no real rules But against Maguire would be fine and really at the top of his game no one can beat Ros
I saw that going differently in my mind

In that case happy to have gotten into bed, late enough as it was anyway here after the Ronnie match.
Wonder if Hegeland sat through all that
Yes, I've been to every session, from first ball to last.

Me neither. Because of that Dale-Fu-O'Brien thing, for starters. (Yeah, I like all kinds of strange connections and patterns in snooker. Funny how Ronnie's campaign has mimicked last year's. Won first match in the decider then steamrolled his next opponent. Only that he beat Day 5-1 last year.) And also because what we all saw last afternoon cannot possibly happen again. And because when one falls from way up high, the bump is quite painful to take.

                    • Grand. Stuck with bleeping live score again. You'd think Mags v Robbo would appeal to a wider audience, but I suppose old world titles still count for something in getting telly tables?

@BC: Have a little faith, sistah!

Maija are you telling me (well the table 2 was a big hint there ) that Ebdon/Murphy fcol will be on telly? Can't really believe that....

and yeah, really hoping for this to happen:

Go Neil? Go... NEIL? Right. That's it! I'm not talking to you anymore!

I just assumed that seeing as Hebdon and Murf are on table 1, that that is what we are going to have to make do with. I don't know. I hope not! Going to take my own advice on having faith now.
