Lang Wenbo could well be the new Ding with the way he's been playing of late. Good to see him carrying on from where left off at the World's earlier in the year. More often than not when a virtual unknown plays well at the World Championship the dont always seem to rediscover the same kind of form when the new season starts. Well done Lang Wenbo

I think it would be a good thing not to pronounce newcomers the new this and the new that based on a tournament and a half... it's not very constructive and if the players do read / hear it often enough it might be negative to their development as players.

Plus Mugello could probably not live with the disappointment
