Loove the maxi! And I'm wishing for someone to make one this year, too, so that we can have some variation.
When Ronnie had potted 6 or 7 reds and blacks during his century I was thinking "Hm, surely not".:snooker: Fortunately, most important thing is to win the frame so in went the pink.

Liang plays badly but Higgins lacks killer instinct today and refuses to close the sack on him. Its a lot of traded easy misses on both parts.

I think Maguire is in trouble.

I so do not understand Liangs shot selection half of the times...

4-1, but its almost painfully bad at times. If anyone of them were playing at half their potential they would whitewash the other klutz.

What's the latest on Maguire's game and Lee - Harold?

Nothing is going for Wenbo at the moment... absolutely nothing.

              Edit: And he's out.

How do you expect something to go for him. He played idiotically the whole match. Even i would beat him today.

2-1 for Harold and 3-1 for McManus is the latest I've seen.

I think he was a little intimitated by meeting Higgins etc. Didnt amount to anything at all, despite loads of chances given by John.

Interview with Higgins. I just love to listen to him. Not being from UK, I understand about half of what he's saying.

The only idiotic shot I can remember was the attempt on potting a red off the cushion. Other than that he's always been playing like that and with very good results.

So John Higgins beats Lang Wenbo 5-1. Not the kind of score line many of us would have predicted. Very disappointing display from the young man!

He did play a good few idiotic shots in each frame, finding himself in impossible position after them or leaving Higgins in with open chances. I very much doubt he is intimidated by anyone. It didn't show at all until now when he played Doherty, ROS or Ebdon for instance.
Maybe he had a bad day in office, maybe he has a headache ... who knows. But he was anything but convincing today that's for sure.

Harold 4-1, McManus 4-2. Maguire in the lead in frame 7.

Mark Allen is so far and without a doubt the player of the tournament. He simply does not miss. Can't see anyone able to compete with him if this form continues.
