Mark Allen certainly looks like the better single ball potter at the moment against Williams. Even though I think Allen is not very strong mentally, there's no way he will lose this match now.

Well cant really say Williams put him in any kind of troubles.. Poor display from the Welshman so far..imo

He is one of the most fluent and quick players when on form. When I see people talk about Trump, Cope, Wenbo, Allen is (currently) a class above them.

As I said in earlier post, I think playing in front of home crowd inspires him. Come on Mark!!!

He did lose 8 on the spin from 5-1 up against Williams last year in combination of good play from Williams and going completely off the boil from Mark Allen.

He isn't a bottler. I think his record in final frame deciders is very good in last two years (aside from Hendry in world champs - when he went in off in final frame and Hendry cleared - his main chance was frame before where he overhit the final red?). He's also beat most of the big names, but I agree he needs to step up a little.
