I don't think Allen has done anything wrong in the last 3 frames really. He's made one positional error, and missed one development shot. Allen could've won either of the last two but Williams, who's playing good stuff himself, just keeps pinching them.

Joao - I don't see what you mean wrt fixing. Williams always plays like this, his shot selection hasn't been unusual as far as I can tell.

Harold Lee locked in an eternal frame 8, still 3-4 for Harold. Selby first among the balls against McCullogh.

Lee finally won it, 4-4. This is comeback afternoon it seems.

I know I'm probably wrong but I can't help but think about it when I see certain shots being taken when you're about to get thrown out.

Bad error there from Allen, had a great chance to make a winning break but hampered himself on the intended red and then missed the type of recovery pot you'd expect him to get. Possibly starting to get a bit anxious?

Williams in again but one good split away from taking the decider and he's missed a howler to the middle. Allen knocks in a tough one along the black cushion but then misses an easy pink. Touch up safeties now...

Williams' safety catches a knuckle and Allen has his best chance yet. He'll need to clear but the balls couldn't be better placed.

Not the smoothest of clearances but with a few good pots Allen finally gets over the line 5-3.

Allen played well and deserves the last 8 spot. Wouldnt have minded Williams going a bit longer, but he didnt play it tonite.
