i don't know what made ronnie so frustrated...it was only a miss after all but if it wasn't for that the match would have ended much sooner

in the last press conf ronnie said there are 2 players that can beat him now but he only mentioned one ...maybe the second is himself

Barry played a great match, was really unlucky with the kick when first in in the decider. He is so solid and definately has a ranking tournament win in him.

I tried to sky+ the snooker (while I watched some tennis - serves me right I suppose) but I've just been watching the recording, got to 17-1 in the decider and it gave me the dreaded 'For your information - End of programme' .

Can anyone fill me in? I saw as far as Hawkins' untimely kick but not much after that.

Also, anyone watched the interview on TG4? I missed it because I expected them to go off air and switched to Eurosport. Please? Thank you.

Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie... WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME! I could barely watch the last frame. Infact, I had to resort to putting UKTV Gold on and flicking over constantly in the hope that O'Sullivan was winning. Incredibly nerve racking, but a massive relief when he actually won. I suppose when you watch O'Sullivan you should expect a rollercoaster of emotions.

P.S: just watched the second video which Black Cat posted (a lot of which I missed live because I was afraid to watch ), that brown was amazing. Especially under so much pressure.

...agree, 'awesome' long brown from Ronnie, a memorable 'pressure pot'....

Thought Barry had it in the bag earlier on in the deciding frame though, taking a 37-2 lead, then he missed a tricky red, unlucky....

Yeah phenomenal Brown under the circumstances! Got to feel a little sorry for Barry though as he usually puts in a really good performance against Ronnie and gets pipped to the post!

I was watching on Eurosport last night for fear TG4 may go off air and I missed the post-match interview. So...what was it like? Could anyone give me some details? Thanks.
Oh, and...last night's match was "living on the edge". Not good for the faint-hearted.

Basically, he's said in interview he's disappointed with his game and laughed a lot

Will it take a century every single frame and a whitewash on the scoreline in order for Ronnie to be NOT disappointed with his game? :snooker:

Ha! Hes always disappointed with his game . The difference this time is , as our commentators mentioned , that even if hes disappointed with the way he plays he said hes more confident in his game lately and will play his chances nice and cool ( as a friend would say).
Last nights match was great,of course i have no more nails left for the semis , he risked bit to much imo and gave Barry few good chances. Happy he won in the end , a good chance for him to get in the final.
Might be a Harold-ROS final, tho i have to admit im not to keen on the perspective and i bet neither is ROS.

I'm quite surprised O'Sullivan is still there. He should have been knocked out by Doherty in first place. Really hope he doesn't win the tournament as it would be not deserved at all.
