Wow! According to their respective track records, now since Harold has just beaten Higgins, all this tournament needs is Carter's first win over Ronnie in 10 attempts with the match ending 6-1 and a Carter/Harold final won by the latter. In the decider. With a maxi.

I think the is very appropriate. Whoever wins tonight will face a hard opponent. And one that could very well bore Ronnie to tears if we have a Harold - ROS final which is not guaranteed at all.
Not that Harold's game is boring - what I saw was quite impressive and enjoyable - but he has this strange immobility about him that gives this feeling of slowness... I can't put it better.Proud winner of the 2008 Bahrain Championship Lucky Dip

Well done to Harold, i never thought he'd get that far in the tournament..in 17 years as a pro he had only won 1 title..ages ago ( hope im not wrong)..quite impressive that after so many years he managed to achieve this performance..
As for the coming final.. could be a Harold -Ronnie match , i remember last time they played - 1st round at the Worlds few years ago , Ronnie dealt quite well with Daves slowness. I for one never liked Harold , to me he takes way to much time to "select" a shot ,then think ab it ..if its the best decision or not, to bend over the table and then a wee more to take the shot... That slows his game a great deal and more than once i found it boring..
A Carter -Harold final..is just as possible , in this case my feeling is Dave would win..
Mon the Rocket , i hope we'll have a great semi tonight! :snooker:"I just want to live for the moment.Tomorrow's not important, next month is not important, what's happened in the past is not important. That's my journey... and I like the journey i'm on!" R.O'Sullivan

Who'd have thought that Dave Harold would be back in the top 16 again, all be it provisionally. A truly amazing fightback at 41 years of age, to climb back up the rankings after nearly dropping off the main tour due to his wrist injury a few years ago; sheer grit and hard work has come through over all the young guns and hot shots. :snooker:"You can shove your snooker up your jacksie 'cos I aint playing no more!"
