does anybody know who was sponsoring John Higgins in The NIT 2008 he had the word SNOOKER in big letters on his waistcoat - anybody know who the company sponsoring him is its important

I think that was the World Series of Snooker logo which he part founded I think.

Yup, it was the World Series of Snooker logo. My guess is that they're not sponsoring him as such, as it is his 'baby', so it's only natural that he wants to promote it as much as he can.

I like the logo, but it reminds me of some other logo, a PC game or something like that
