        Thanks. Opinion or information?

Anyway, WHY are there TWO variants?

            Well, both are worldsnooker.com links.
No draw sheet on Global yet....
I repeat my question> WHY are there TWO variants?

Well, it looks like the first draw you mentioned is the amateur pre-qualifying draw, I didn't get what it means, though
              All the way Mark J!!

Both are variants of the same round: the amateur pre-qualifiers. So who's say Kamran Ashraf going to play, David Craggs as we see here http://www.worldsnooker.com/files/PTC1_draw.pdf

or Richard Somauroo as written here http://www.worldsnooker.com/PTC1_new...16.htm?tid=166

Am, I missing something? Only I can't see anything anywhere that tells me how many frames are to be played in each match.

All matches are best of 7.

Edit: Draw sheet on Global now > http://www.global-snooker.com/global...ship-Event-One

So the correct variant is this http://www.worldsnooker.com/PTC1_new...16.htm?tid=166

                    as HunRon said.

Does anybody think like me that they are being optimistic in only allowing 1 1/2 hours for best of seven?

its roll on roll off if a match finishes in a hour 4-0 no reason why they wont go on earlier.

                          Nugget Junior To Face Gould
Greg Davis, son of snooker legend Steve, is through to the last 128 of Players Tour Championship event one, having been handed a bye through the preliminary round.

Davis was due to play David Gray today in the all-amateur round, but Gray has withdrawn from the event.

The son off the six-times World Champion therefore goes through to play tomorrow against Martin Gould, who will be in action for the first time since his epic 13-12 defeat to eventual winner Neil Robertson at the Betfred.com World Snooker Championship.

Ejler Hame has also withdrawn, which means that Marc Davis goes through to play Fergal O'Brien.

no referees for early rounds therefore live scoring can't be operated.
