  • Pathetic, live scoring packs up AGAIN at 11pm.

    • What a first day as a professional for young Scotsman Anthony McGill. 2 wins and 2 tons so far, including claiming a 4-2 win over Alan 'Angles' McManus to move in to the Last 32.

And a very late night ahead as he still has one match left to play. Hopefully the format will be looked at before the next event as having been at the venue for 13 hours, you would think you would manage more than 2 best of 7 frame matches!!

P.S. WSA Live Scoring is pathetic. If it's this bad it should be withdrawn till it's working properly.

      • Yes Gerry, fantastic day so far for Anthony and it appears he is playing pretty well and scoring heavily.

Also have to agree about WSA live scoring, it should be withdrawn until it is efficient enough to do the job.

        • Antz Wins Battle of the Scots!

Anthony McGill has beaten Alan McManus 4-2 to win his 2nd match of the day.

He hit 130 clearance to lead 3-1 (his 2nd ton today, 134 in 1st match)

Very impressive start to his Pro career! :snooker:

          • Jimmy White has lost 4-1 to Jamie Cope, it really is dreadful trying to keep up to date with this competition.

                    • Ronnie O'Sullivan looks as though he's back to some sort of form. I do genuinely believe that Ronnie still has the hunger to play and is looking forward to playing in these minor events. If he did'nt, he would've been like Hendry and not have turned up.

He's only hit one century, but he seems to have put in a lot of 50+ breaks in the matches he has played in so far.

I stand corrected. I turned the GS updates off after a while due to the late night finish!

                        • It's me that's wrong - he only had 1 ton against Selby and that was the one you saw.

Just ignore me - was a really late night!!
