    I don't think that will neccesarily be the case. In the PDC Pro Tour events on a weekend, very very rarely a player will just play one tournament and give up. The majority enter probably the first 10 or so events, and then if they can't cut it, they give up. Remember, prize money is lower in those tournaments for the same entry fee. Players SHOULD have the mentality that if maybe they get a better draw, they could win more than one match (as you saw with Allan). £1,200 in entry fees with the winning potential of £12,000.

    I would think quite a lot of the youngsters that have real potential will get sponsors to play in these events; looking at the long term career earning potential.

      • Maybe we will see what happens with certain poker players, where people can invest in the "buy-in" for a certain percentage of the winnings....
