    • Parenthesis> not sure if it's the case to open a new thread: am I missing something or Ahmed Saif is really a Main Tour player? He was a Bahrain'08 wildcard but now he's listed on http://www.worldsnooker.com/player_list-9949.htm
Winner of the 2009 UK Championship Lucky Dip
Co-winner of Spike’s 2009 UK Championship number of centuries prediction contest

No he is not on the main tour, the WSA site has profiles of a number of players not on the main tour ie. John Parrott, Hugh Abernethy, Mark Boyle etc.

          • Looks like Ryan Day's lost in the first round again, this time to Haneever! He's not really having a great time of the PTC but at least he's going

Mark Selbs and Ali both won their first matches:snooker: nice to see Ali there Where's Mark Allen?!
Winner of Ja's Super Special Grand Prix Lucky Dip 2009
Joint-winner of montoya10/theasaris' Shanghai Masters Fantasy Game 2010

not sure why Mark Allen isn't playing - he has been practicing in his home town club this week including yesterday, so it doesn't look like a pre booked holiday. At the last event, he was playing in a charity golf event, so perhaps had a slight excuse for it.

Well it's good to know he's practicing! Perhaps he'll make it to some during the middle of the season when he's in England more

Mark Williams is 1-1 with Mark Davis in round 2, as are Mark Selby and Shaun Murphy :snooker:

                    Selby is buzzing.

Trump has knocked in two big breaks to go 2 up on Perry

Of course 4-2 doesn't much look like a final result But the outcome was indeed the same....
