i hate preferential treatment to anyone and if i was a amataur player in PTC3 i would be testing out the thery 1 rule for some and another for them...

i just hope someone will test that out they might have another pro am that same day.

Whilst ruining the forum, you do seem to be the one keeping it going through this relatively quiet period on the snooker front, and we can do nothing but praise you for that. You just need to be bit happier and enjoy the forum more.

I'd accept your point if it were a major competition but the PTC seems to be more of an experiment. Some players can't even be arsed to play. Some games are kicking off early hours, so that could be another argument for preferential treatment for some players who play early.

Honestly, changing the time of a game for an experimental tournament is no big deal at all. Infact, White deserves credit for doing his best to play in both events. The majority of people want to see him in these events, so he's committed to both. The easiest thing would be to cancel one. A lot of players would have. So credit where its due IMO. Also, the legends tour was arranged before the PTC, so there is no harm in giving a bit of slack.

Players that arent playing because of other commitments not that they cant be bothered Steve Davis, Barry Hearn's Right hand man and friend not played Are we saying he cant be bothered ?

it would be a shambles if other players as well got exhibition commitments and expect them to organize the PTC around everyone what would happen then.

as i say would World Snooker Resquedual a match to Saturday because one of the young Amataurs got a exam on Friday ? or is it only the rich and famous that gets that treatment.

im not having a go at Jimmy but i think everyone should be treated the same but i cant see others getting that treatment be honest Do You ?

HI I am happy that Ken Doherthy is playing in event 2 as i met him in June 2010 in Montreal Quebec Canada and was a perfect gentleman sigining autographs and also you could take pictures with him

In my view he is first Class and a true Professional Snooker Player and he says that he will be coming to Montreal Quebec Canada with a new player from England next year

You can check the snooker Club that he played with Mr Alain Robidoux and enjoyed the week with him

yes i am speculating because it is a situation that could happen easily with Amataurs involved.

im not talking about the World im talking about PTC exactly how slack are they going to get and with how many players or is it just jimmy white.

as i say giving slack is great but each and every player should get the same slack now they given jimmy that slack ill be keeping my eye on future events to see if others if need be gets the same slack.

Can anyone tell me what the amateur players actually get out of competing in this event, is it the money or the possible match play against a pro. Do they get ranking points to qualify for the main tour.
