    • I predict there will be a fair few shocks today.

The draw is really opening up for Tom Ford. If he wins his next match, he is guaranteed a grand, with possibly more if he goes onto beat Jamie Cope.

      Predicted Shocks:

I reckon Shokat Ali to beat Ricky Walden.
Sam Baird to beat Gerard Greene.
Sam Harvey to beat Anthony McGill.
Chris Norbury to beat Dave Harold.
Damian Wilks to beat Jordan Brown.

If you get 2 right there you will be doing well. I reckon you might get 1 right though!

I am fairly confident Walden & Greene will win there matches, but you could be right with the rest of your predictions..

I'll gladly welcome upsets if they're to be caused by youngsters

Later: result now on GSC. Great win for David Grace!

                          • Almost as good at snooker predictions as Dave Hendon!
Or as I am at soccer predictions.
It’s rather useful though: you can bet your life it’s going to be the opposite to what was predicted!
