        • I am not surprised by Anthony's win, although I did think it would be closer!

I hope he can go and win it now... He is certainly good enough!

          • Mr P

I can see nothing but a Maguire - Selby final now.

Nice to see lots of the lesser known players have a good run.

Don't you just love it when a prediction comes off!

Hence my previous Thread Mr P, that you was pretty quick to shoot down about getting strange scores & results. You see what i mean. Its not that Mcgill is not capable, he is a brilliant talent and might of done this anyway, but these players have more chances of getting results like this, because of the conditions i am criticising about.

Its quite strange that an example came to light right away. In a normal ranking event, these kind of occurence only happen very rarely, but in events like this they are all too common, thats why they don't really prove much. As i was trying to say. :snooker:

Well after my prediction performance on Friday, I certainly won't be becoming a tipster anymore!

Maybe Janie from Global Snooker showed these predictions to the players involved and they made sure they did win in order to prove me wrong!

                  • The quarter-finals are now underway. Mark Selby goes in as favourite. TSF member Stuart Bingham plays Barry Pinches, and leads 1-0.

                    Mark Selby 0-0 Jimmy Robertson
                    Andrew Pagett 0-0 Marco Fu
                    Stuart Bingham 1-0 Barry Pinches
                    Gerard Greene 0-0 Anthony McGill

                    • Now that live scoring is completely turned off, it has become even more of a pain to wait for updates..

I'll gladly wait to get a concrete solution for the system, though.

                      Mark Selby 1-2 Jimmy Robertson
                      Andrew Pagett 1-3 Marco Fu
                      Stuart Bingham 2-1 Barry Pinches
                      Gerard Greene 1-3 Anthony McGill

Looks like Anthony McGill's amazing run is still not ended
                      All the way Mark J!!

                            Pinches v Greene

Can't see Selby not getting the job done from here but I'd love to see Pinches do it.

How about from 2-0 down? Just when I thought it was safe to look! Either way they've all done well :snooker:
