There are a total of 221 entries for EPTC 1 in Furth

78 Main Tour Pros - only missing players from Top 16 are Higgins, Ding and Maguire.

It's going to be a great weekend, as usual, in Furth

I'm confused - last week www.snokerstars.de had an entry list to date for this event that included both Ding and Maguire - have they since withdrawn then?

I'm sure the Snookerstars list is incorrect. I had a look on there a few weeks ago and some of the names that were previously on there, we're removed. That list only has about 175 names.

Great to have Dom Dale on the list. But a pity that Ding and Maguire seemed to have withdrawn. Nonetheless the list is very impressive. I'm sure the torunament will be a big success.

                seen new list - thanks

can't work out what Ding is upto. It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't enter any of the events

Just spotted some other interesting Players on the list

                    ...
                    Reanne Evans
                    Tony Knowles
                    Ronnie O'Sullivan
                    ...

I wonder if Ronnie will really come...

He was on holiday wit his girlfriend so missed first few PTC events and the BTV cup
so may he thinks it's not worthwhile to try and play catch up.

Some of the international players are also having visas issues for the EPTCS - Germany embassy wanting everything from their flight details to the colour of their underpants before issuing visas - and they don;t book their flights up until they know "when" and "where" they're playing and they won't enter the events unless they can get their visas, so it's a bit of a problem area.

What's needed is an EEC work permit/visa to cover multiple entry into EEC countries over a period of time.

especially as for Ding he will miss the last 2 EPTC events because of Asian Games

                        - they really need to sort the visa issue out............
