Liang Wenbo is quite dangerous now, his ranking already dropped to no. 21

I am kinda concern about Ryan Day too... His ranking keeps falling and just won a few matches in PTCs (except his performance in BTV Cup, that is quite good). He already dropped out of top 16, now rank no.20. If he do poorly in the coming Shanghai Masters and World Open, oh no ....
Hope he is going to have a good performance in EPTC 1, as well as Liang Wenbo :snooker:

Yes, and in the PTC3 he beat Mike Dunn, Kyren Wilson and Nigel Bond to reach the Last 16 round where he lost to Ian McCulloch. Slow start but Michael Holt’s nightmare start of the season is exactly 760 ranking points darker....

Liang Wenbo seems like not yet getting into the Top 16. He need to qualify for the World Open and failed, while he will be in Shanghai even if he's outside the Top 16.

Then after the 1st cutoff point, he need to qualify for the UK and will not be in the Master.

I'm sure everyone is having a good laugh at any little errors, but it's frenetic here today in Furth, plus steam heat humidity and I think we're even having trouble writing out own names at the moment.

also the officials are working in a public place not an office so it is constant interruptions (nice ones though) so very hard to concentrate.

As usual in Furth, it is absolutely buzzing here. It is so nice to be back amongst the fans, who are packing into the place and I can hear apllause ringing all round the building from various tables. So so much nicer than the soul destroying empty little boxes at the EIS in Sheffield

Played there in 2008, the venue is in my opinion the most beautiful that I've seen snooker played in.

I know the place. Very special atmosphere. Maybe the seating plan can give an idea about buzz and sound coming from everywhere > http://www.paul-hunter-classics.de/M...7_Saalplan.pdf

Rolf Kalb: "Für Ryan Day dagegen setzte sich die Negativserie fort. Gegen Joe Swail verlor er mit 3:4 und musste sich so ein weiteres Mal in Runde eins verabschieden."

                          Swail 4-3 Day.

I noticed, the price money for last 32 and last 8 is 500 € and 1400 € respectivly. At the Sheffield PTCs it was 600 and 1500 GBP.

How many "merits" for the PTC order do last 32 and quarterfinal loosers get? The only thing I found is that EUR = GBP and plate event money = 0 "merits"...
                              Lucky Dip history:

2010 Sangsom 6 Reds - eliminated at group stage

2010 BTV Cup Beijing - Winner with Tian Pengfei

Prize money earned from the Plate competition does not qualify for inclusion in the Order of Merit.

For the purposes of the Order of Merit £1=€1.
