And now 4-1... Well I only got to see the last part of that frame so it's nice to hear Jamie was playing well instead of Ali playing badly.

It has to be said Ali doesn't really do well in these tournaments...

But as far as I remember Jamie Jones has done pretty well in these past few tournaments, so good for him.

The best of 7 matches doesn`t really seem to suit Ali, remember the Shanghai Masters - his win from 4-1 down, so it is as it is.

Yeah, Jamie made it to the final of the PTC5 It's nice to see young players coming through but on this occasion I'd have liked to see Ali win (Can you blame me? )

Mark Allen's gone down 2-0 against Andrew Norman... another top player who's not doing well in these events. His whole season's been a little shoddy to say the least

As it is now, quite a few of the Top 16 doesn`t seem likely to qualify for the PTC big final, so these tournaments as we`ve seen is a really good opportunity for the young players.

Davis v. Selt is 3-3, and its actually quite interesting to follow it from the livescore as it shows how many points there are left on the table.

But well thats how it is...The top players doesn`t seem too invincible in these events, lets see what happens next. Atleast Murphy seems to be going well being 3-0 ahead of Trump and Jogia also 3-0 ahead of Hicks. Interesting
