Really enjoyed the streaming of this event. It was loads better than Power Snooker. It seemed well organised. From what I could see on the stream, players were often at the table before it had been brushed! Commentary would have been nice. With the roll on roll off format, I should imagine it would be difficult getting two commentators on both tables for every match. Maybe just have it on the last day if it's possible. A score graphic for the TV pod table would have been nice, although this can be solved by having the live scoring in another window. I can't understand why the plug was pulled out before the prize giving ceremony. Overall though, it was super. No problems with the stream. Could watch for hours without it stopping. Hope there are many more big events from the academy on the net in the future. Well done to Stephen Lee. A deserved winner.2009 & 2010 UK Championship Fantasy Game Winner

but that is not intended at all to take anything away from Sarah, Janie, Paul and all at SWSA - they've done an excellent job providing the streaming service and put the WPBSA to shame who still can't manage it at their own venue after months of trying ...
so a huge well done and thanks to them ...
to the poster who wanted commentary - talk about wanting your cake and eat it - four commentators (2x2 tables) would cost a lot of money and is quite frankly totally unnecessary for most viewers - the stream is appealing to die-hard fans who, I would imagine, are quite capable of assessing the difficulty and tactical implications of shots without requiring a commentator to tell them ...
mindu (and I hope I'm not upsetting anyone at SWSA), those two lads commentating on day 1 were terribly funny ... they clearly has no idea about the game and were trying to bluff it, often with hilarious results ...
so yes, as WJE said, as far as I'm concerned, the more WBPSA events at the SWSA, the betterLast edited by DandyA; 1 November 2010, 12:10 AM.
