    yes they wont move it.

its just tough on the players involved in power snooker.

we are starting to get professional where players got choices what and where to play.

This is still the problem with the main tour, too many tournaments in the UK. The Welsh Open and World Open should be moved to the continent (the Welsh renamed obviously), and it's rubbish having an EPTC in the UK.

but there is no reason to leave 3 eptc tournaments within 1 month in one country. perhaps they could give it to malta, russia or to some place, where the 4 pat mooney ptcs should have been staged. offenburg i think was a replacement for one of those

They are in Russelheim the week before and Hamm the week after. The facilties at the SWSA are excellent and there is a good chance we will get live streaming for some of the matches as the equipment is already set up, this is a good move and it allows Ronnie, Neil etc to play in both tournaments.

I'm not sure if all players are aware or not. After the Offenburg event was moved to be held in Gloucester, World Snooker have opened up the event to receive entries form players who hadn't previously entered.

Entries close this Friday so anyone wanting to enter better do so quickly.

There is a new entry pack as a download on World Snooker site at

                      http://www.worldsnooker.com/PTC12_ne...11.htm?tid=194

For the fans, SWSA will have information by the end of this week regarding tickets for the event.

Maybe we should change the thread title to reflect the venue change.
                        Any news about the draw?

PS Will the event bear a special name like The SWSA / Gloucester Classic / Open?
