and if he wins will then play at 7pm (probably against Mark Selby) and at 9pm, then back on Sunday for final stages depending if he wins!!
I´ll have to see it, before I believe it.

Just wondering what the 'pods' are at the academy..

Tickets with just pod access, no arena access! what's a pod, is it like a little shuttle type thing with glass door like evel knievel tried jumping the canyon in?.......

Soz, bit late and i'm just wondering what these 'pods' are.. or am i just being plain dull...

Don't worry Cally. You're not the first person to ask and I am sure you will not be the last

Below is an image of one of the pods in the Academy. It is a separate seating area for each match table in the match rooms and there are eight pods in total.

We decided to sell Pod only tickets to give a cheaper ticket option. The arena will obviously be used for matches that we deem will attract a high level of spectator interest and would therefore need more seating. However, with the number of great players that are competing in the event, there will no doubt be plenty of mouthwatering ties in the pods also.

            Hope that answers the question

Thankyou for your prompt reply sarah...

Does that means if i buy a 'pod' ticket i could get into the arena for a match or two? or am i still confined to the 'pods'... Or i am i free to roam 'so to speak' if seating available at such 'pods' or arena...

I'm confusing myself more and more now.....

I'm debating whether or not to pop up on the friday....Hmmmm, dunno what to do, is ronnie playing friday?

I'll see if i can manage to get up for friday at least, can't do whole weekend, can't really do friday but i'll do my best to get there...

Show my support and all that like...

It was last week so you have missed it - actually we all missed it as the live streaming had a human error problem
It was a bargain at 50p, well it would of been

You're very welcome Cally. If you were to buy a pod ticket then I am afraid you would be unable to enter the arena for any of the arena matches unless you upgraded your ticket and paid the difference, although this would only be possible depending on ticket sales for the Arena. With a pods only ticket you would be free to roam between any of the matches played outside of the arena in the match rooms so you would still have a choice of eight matches at any one time.

Ronnie is playing on Friday at 3pm (or thereabouts as it is roll on-roll off). Would be great to see you there. Make sure you introduce yourself if you see me around. I'll be the one with a red rose under the clock In fact, I'll be the one with an id pass on saying Sarah Mount!!

We're deciding on which matches will be streamed and a price during this coming week and all of the information will be available on our website as soon as we know. Janie or myself will be sure to point you all in the right direction once the information is available.

Apologies once again for the error with the streaming for the exhibition evening-we were so disappointed but at least we know it will all work correctly for next weekend.
