Its all comebacks but I just wanted to say that its a lot harder to win from 6-9 down to 10 wins than from 5-7 down
as well as its harder to comeback from 5-8 down to 9 wins than 5-7 down
and it is harder to comeback from 1-3 down to 4 wins than 0-2 down
thats why Selbys comebacks are bigger
I wanna to say this:
Coming back 5-8 down is the comeback.
Coming back 5-7 down is the comeback.
By the way, I checked O'Sullivan-Selby head to heads.
I saw this:
If Ronnie/Selby leads 7-5, the opponent is the winner.
2007 UK: Selby 7-5, but 9-8 Ronnie.
2008 WO: Ronnie 7-5, but 9-8 Selby.
2009 Masters: Selby 7-5, but 10-8 Ronnie.
2010 Masters: Ronnie 7-5, but 10-9 Selby.
2010 WCH: Ronnie 7-5, but 13-11 Selby.
Selbys comebacks are bigger, but as someone else said before...Ronnie is different class, by a mile. And we know how Selby won some of the matches against Ronnie...by slowing the pace and playing some negative snooker.
In fact it doesnt matter who made the biggest comeback it matters who is the better player. Yesterday it was Selby....in general its Ronnie, by far.

you know what The Paul Hunter Classic was a Pro Am nothing more when it started in 2004 as the Grand Prix Fürth and won by Paul Hunter.
it was well supported as a pro am by some pro contingent and a lot of Amateurs at that time and it grew and almost had a cult following when it was re named the Paul Hunter Classic in 2007.
would it be fair for the Pro Game to take this event away from it Roots and Deprive Amateurs the Opportunity to compete in this event ?
OK. You have got a good point there. I was more focusing on the many spectators. Snooker really has got a base for more tournaments in Germany.

Only thing is wasnt the German Masters last year played at an open arena with all tables on view? Not to much to ask to get a better facility or revamp from last year.
LOL why would I care about that. I like how Mark plays.
well, nobody cares about your fan talk either. so you are saying results / achievements don't matter? well, what does then? the facts speak loud and clear - mark selby has achieved nothing of significance in the sport so far - unlike ronnie.

Not sure exactly what you are arguing against? Missneworleans only said that Selby has made some memorable comebacks against O'Sullivan, which is hardly in dispute. Nobody is claiming that Selby's legacy is anywhere near O'Sullivan's, that would be silly.

ill tell you what some of the things ive seen arguing here tells me Ronnie fans are very apprehensive even scared of Selby and trying to keep him down.

No need to try and keep him down...when you reach 30 and you won only one ranking tournament....that is nothing to be scared of.

why argue about it then ???? if you have nothing to worry about.
It was just an opinion...i wasnt arguing....just telling what i believe and that is that.

Selby's a really strange player - he can absolutely hammer in the centuries when hes's in the mood but seems to lpse into grinder mode more often than not - a bit like Dott. I can only assume it's not a conscious thing or he'd have won a few more titles by now.
