    Thanks
a few years ago there was a campaign to rename the masters after paul hunter but worldsnooker said no so they went for the german open and now its called paul hunter classic. its been a big pro-am tournament for number of years, pro players loved coming there because of its awesome atmoshere and everything and then came worldsnooker and made a PTC out of it.

and if you missed last season, half of the ptcs were held in the uk and the other half in europe - germany, belgium, czech republic etc. same this season.

      Thanks for that.
I did hear about the Masters campaign and that was unsuccessful.
I was just wondering why the German and not a PTC in England <shrug>
Good luck your self in Poland at PTC at the end of Sept.

This Event was first staged in 2004 and Paul was the first winner...following his death they decided to re name the event The Paul Hunter Classic in tribute for the suport paul gave the event from humble beginnings.

over the years its grown and grown in to the most coverted Pro Am snooker has ever had and it was only fitting that its the centerpoint of the PTC Series.

How do you think, who will better today Mark Selby or Stephen Lee? ;-)

Well I'd expect Selby to come through, but Lee has the game to beat anyone when he's on form, and he seems to be playing quite well at the moment. Also, Selby hasn't lost a frame so far, although Lee's only conceded a few. So, it could be close, but I'd go Selby, 4 - 2.

                    Oh, and welcome to TSF.

how did ronnie lose this one after leading 3-1

should have won 4-0 but for the bad miss on blue in frame 3

Not really...Ronnies won the last 3 meetings, before today, and that shoot-out thing...so i think you are exaggerating a bit...

Well Mark certainly made some comebacks against Ronnie and this is the smallest one
Welsh Open 9-8 from 5-8 down
                                Masters 10-9 from 9-6 down
                                WC 13-11 from 5-9 down
I would be sick of Selby if I were Ronnie!
