Can anyone explain to me why Judd chose to go up to the blue ball when he could have stayed on the black in that last frame yesterday? It lead to him missing a red up by the bulk cush, which he had to play because he ended up on the wrong side of the blue...

There is notting wrong with him! He is 16 and was playing on television anything can happen. I was there watching and he was playing briliantly in some off the other matches he won.

The stream is working but the camera is at the top of arena a mile away from the tables... whats that all about eh. the crowd are going nuts at mo and i cant quite see whats happening...D'oh.

Was too gutted to remember correctly, but do remember him missing red. Jimmy rolled into that small pack in last frame and found the tiniest of gaps and landed near the bottom cushion, ridiculous bad luck. As good a match as ive seen in ages though, should of been over a lot earlier, but good luck to jt147

Yeah must just be that match. everyone can have an off day and its tough playing infront of an expectant home crowd perhaps for some; although some players tend to thrive in it.
Lots of players struggle a little bit (Roertson, Hendry) adjusting at first, I'm sure he will be ok.

I do think he is a little over hyped though and believe that does not help his cause (weight of expectation) which had a simular effect on Trump for a few years-He needs to refine his shot selection which can only come with experience and I have to say I dont agree with many on the forum that rate him so highly after watching him post 147's at a young age on the net-many other players can do this too. I think there are other young players around that seem better prospects. Michael White, Kyren Wilson, Jamie Jones. jimmy Robertson, Ben Woolaston, half of asia (joking) etc etc

Long way to go though in his career and he can only improve with more experience though. I wish him well seems a nice young man.

Luca has some of the traits of autism, ie being quiet and uneasy around strangers but........
