Very odd situation, and seems quite untypical of Michaela who can be quite forceful when she wants to. Seems quite untypical of Ebdon too. If I was Michaela, also I'd have been a bit annoyed that Jan Ver Haas didn't back her up, but I didn't see it.

It might have been quite clearly not a free ball. Without seeing it, it's hard to say who was in the wrong in this instance.

Regarding Ver Haas backing up Tabb ;- I'm not sure Ver Haas knew what Michaela had called. She might have just said to him ''can you give an opinion on a free ball.'' For all he knew, Jimmy white could have asked Michaela if it was a free ball and she said ''no.'' If you see what i mean lol.

I gather he's knackered - backwards and forwards for things like the premier league final and seeing his kids, playing at sheffield, york this weekend etc. I'd like to see what Sam Baird is like as a player cos he scored pretty heavily against Ronald during this event.

He must have done, and fair dues to him, it's a surprise result even for an out of sorts Ronnie. But I suppose that's the short format for you, one player hits a vein of form, the other's a bit slow off the mark, and before you know it, end of.
