Sorry i think the game needs to change or as a tv/profesional entity it will die. Ball in hand will make it more exciting and improve the games popularity in a big way. For tv ratings to get back to where they used to be, they have to find a way to stop the long safety exchanges and ball in hand will do that. No offence.

Well wel'll have to agree to disagree for now on that one, suffice it to say that the audiences had no problems with long bouts of safety play when the game was at it's peak in the 80s.

I'd have to disagree with you there as well, safety play is all part of the game and it brings out the tactical side of the player..... which I think is great to watch.

I know pretty unbelievable how he managed to find that gap.... but he followed it up with a good safety shot that won him the frame!!
