Ronnie is not in it because he is playing in the IPT World Open 8-Ball Championship which is between September 2 and September 10. The total prize fund of $3,000,000 and the winner's cheque of $500,000 is slightly higher than that for Pot Black!

Personally, I think there's never a favourite in Pot Black. Any of the 8 could easily win it, toss of a coin. Pot Luck would be a more appropriate name for the tournament.

....especially when the whole thing could be won by someone who doesnt even pot one black in the tournament

              Quote from Wiki:

'The success of Pot Black was immediate and phenomenal, and it became the second most popular programme on BBC2. Matches always ended with the potting of the black ball, which is often not bothered with in multi-frame matches.'

You can only watch it online if your a UK user. Someone will probally record it and post it on youtube. So you will get to watch it maybe just a few hours/day late
