If that is true, then that makes the prices even more excessive. £70-£110 for 4 hours of snooker, or £40 if you stand!

They are not going to be available to purchase till October time from what I know, there are currently only 6 in existence and they are being used for marketing.

Depends on what your ball set is like, but I guess you could always use a spot white from an old billiards set?

Can't you use another ball? Mark it with something, or use the billiard ball with the dot. It's not ideal but you could try it.

Dump all of these stupid balls in the bin and play proper snooker.

Interested to going to this but just cant bring myself to pay that amount for a couple of hours. My money is on some major ticket offers closer to the time as I just cant see them selling many tickets at that price and with it being the first one they will undoubtedly want the place full.

Has anyone out there actually got a ticket yet?

Dont get me wrong, Ive attended all the main snooker events at one time or another and I am keen to see what this new event has to offer, I just can't justify the cost at the moment in view of the price of train ticket down plus hotel. But then again I remain convinced prices will be slashed closer the time as I can't see a couple of thousand snooker fans paying upto £75 + booking fee for what is essentially two hours of snooker?

Does anyone have any idea of view from standing balcony as this will be as much as I can afford.
