Not so much awful than just plain boring. I've seen some 3-hour long best-of-fives that looked more interesting than this.

Yeah they will be, form what I know they are talking about what colour the Power Ball will be, at the moment it is red but they may change it.

More on that when I know more.

you want Snooker to change im not saying you cant say it but i defend my right to say it as it is.

As much as we enthusiasts love the game and dont want to see the traditional tournaments change , we have to accept thet snooker needs to change with the times and peoples attitude towards it .

We still have the masters, worlds, uk , etc where the formats will be pretty much the same and long may that continue .

Saying that there is room for this type of tourny , with pheraps a bit of tinkering here and there to get it right .

Darts and cricket had to try something different to appeal to a dwindling audience , and snooker has to do the same before it may be too late .
