As for the setup itself, I don't like it. The people that are sat at the tables on the floor can't even see the table, they have to watch the giant screen. They might as well have stayed at home and watch it on tv, probably more atmosphere in my living room than in that venue.

Who is the ref in this Carter-Selby match?

Patricia Murphy. Not sure why she is doing it and not one of the other top refs with Michaela to be honest. Patricia used to ref for World Snooker sometime ago at the qualifiying events, but from what i've heard she wasn't upto the job. As far as i'm aware she hasn't worked with World Snooker for a number of years, unless someone can tell me different. For me this is a gimmick by the organisers to help promote the game, using 2 female refs. Otherwise why else would you bring someone to ref who wasn't deemed good enough to do the job at the main events? We all know Michaela can, but if they want to invite the best players to promote this format, surely they should use the best refs too?

well i think it is quite entertaining to watch, it's nice to see snooker in more explosive manner! very much welcomed! but i think it's even more cooler playing it then watching it! nice to see players smiling, as am i watching it! cheers!
