Tja, just having said I'd put my money on Higgins, Hendry took the frame. Glad to see him playing a great deal better than he did in GP though. I found this match of a special interest because of that Higgins' suggestion for Hendry to seek a good practise partner rather than playing with himself

3-3 not a bad result for Stephen...was quite impressed at times with how he was playing tonight..

I'll take that. Early on it looked like Hendry had picked up where he left off from last week but he fought back well and took an opener that looked to be lost and his frame-winning breaks in frames two and six were very good, with some typically brave shots in there.

Higgins played well too though, in frames three and four in particular, bit fortunate in the fifth.

Sure [ one of my all-time favoutite players too ] Hendo is just out of the top 4 at the moment.

But he [ unlike Shaun Murphy ] still has a fighting chance!

Well, not next week, against Ronnie, but the week after that he'll have a go at the guy with 0 points... so keep the faith!
