I didn't quite hear what they were saying during the between matches break, they're not bringing this 'ball in hand after a foul' rule into the prem next year are they?

Personally I think it is a step in the right direction, but possibly too large a stride. I would be looking at something along the lines of, irrespective of where the balls are (ie snookered on all balls or not) if you foul three times in a row then it is ball in hand to the opponent. Doing it for every foul sounds draconian to me, and could well lead to a situation where "1st foul ends game"
The limiting of the game to a ceertain duration also intrigues me. Will an Ebdon like character make a 40 break and then keep running and hiding, knocking the colours safe and keeping someone in the long grass.
Tactically this first variation on a theme could be absolutely fascinating.

It's only my opinion though, and I may be wrong, I admit that I can be somewhat resistant to change.

I don't like the idea, you do. End of.
No shooting down, no slagging off, just opinions.

I also haven't said I like the idea. I've said I "think it's a step in the right direction".
I didn't shoot you down. I didn't slag you off. I gave my opinion

Here we go again. Should be good viewing tonight.
Just a quick mention about the Semi & Final dates:
Semi-finals - SATURDAY Nov 27
Final - SUNDAY Nov 28
Wouldn't want anybody to get caught out by the change of day, after coming all this way.

Slight misunderstanding there very.tee., my mistake. I meant the current league table , not the current table in play.
As it turns out, I needed the link to the stream anyway.
