Somebody hasn't been reading the premier league rule book........

I wonder what would have happened if the ref had remembered and called the situation correctly, would Higgins have had the choice of either the free ball or ball in hand?

Even if the choice is there ya still gonna take 'ball in hand' int ya, so irrelevant really...

Well that was brilliant. You would have seen me many times as i was sat front row right behind Williams to start with, then Higgins then Trump.

As you say Higgins does not suit that format, he said out loud 'this isnt snooker' sort of jokingly at one point. Stevens actually said (in my best Welsh accent)'i dont a've a clue whats going on!'. All got a bit farcical in the last frame. May aswell concede if the other guy has put 40 on the board and gone safe.

Williams was his usual charismatic self! Couldnt really get his hand on the table though.

Also, why on earth does Stevens use that extention...some old broom handle?
