lets not talk about hendry v white, cause jim has a massive hurdle tomorrow, in perry. he needs to bring his A game with him tomorrow morning, if he does, theres no reason he wont win.

Couldn't agree more. Joe Perry is an excellent player. He's had a bad last 12-18 months on the whole, but is a top class performer on his day.
Jimmy's problem is that although the game is still there, under pressure he rarely produces it these days. In exhibitions he's phenomenal, but pressure is off then. I'd love him to get back up there, but I think his day at the top of the game is gone.
Have to say though that a Jimmy v Hendry opening round at Telford will certainly bring the punters in.
Although you may be right about Jimmy, given his form this season compared with Hendry I honestly think Jimmy will walk it, provided he can despatch Perry which will be tougher.
It's all on the day, though Jimmy has been showing encouraging signs with his form of late. If White was to face Hendry, I think it could turn out to be a close encounter.
Hopefully they would bring the best out of each other and give us a match to remember..
White would get the arena full whoever he was playing. It's good for Snooker if Jimmy gets to the t.v stages.
Whatever happenes, at least Jimmy is starting to win some matches. He's definatly playing better. IMO, it would be a disaster for Snooker if he wasn't on the tour.
