Jimmy played pretty solid snooker against Gunnell yesterday...he had a 132 total clearance and 7 breaks of +50......lets hope he can play good snooker tomorrow against Perry. It would be nice to see a White-Hendry match once again, and a long format one...

Wattana - Gould now 2-2 - I think that frame could prove important as Wattana had chances to go 3-1 in front. Could help Gould?

on this morning he plays Steve Davis. so unfair"There has only ever been Alex Higgins, myself and now Ronnie O'sullivan who play the game the way it should be played with such excitement - I know the fans love it this way" - Jimmy White

The winner plays Dott, who I think has got quite a poor record in the UK.

Perry has a reasonable record in UK with couple of semis and beating O'Sullivan couple of years ago. He did lose to Ballrun last year though and Jimmy is on decent form.
Meanwhile Steve Davis is struggling at 4-2 down and 61 points behind in 7th frame.
Gould at the table 45-19 in front and look like taking a 4-3 lead. I think Wattana needs to win the next one otherwise Gould could run away with it.

Black ball game in frame eight and Wattana steels it with a colours clearance for 4 apiece. Been a few close frames in this match. Hoping that Wattana can keep it up and edge through tonight - That would only put him up to 71st in provisional list - Even beating dott will keep him about 65th or 66th I think. So he needs to reach the quarter finals though to get into the top 64! Still a good run and at least it puts him in striking distance for top 64 in next revision.

What's happened to www.global-snooker.com? They used to be so on the ball with frame scores and breaks as it happens. Now they are hours behind putting up scores, and don't bother with frame scores.Cheers
