        surely Neil Robertson will be seeded one and Higgins 2, therefore Hamilton plays Robertson and Rob Milkins play Higgins (providing he beats wildcard)

          The wildcards went up on the WSA site a couple of weeks ago but the link has now changed with the new site unfortunately.

          They are though:

          * Luca Brecel
          * Lasse Munstermann
          * Mario Wehrmann
          * Maurice Le Duc
          * Hans Blanckaert
          * Tomasz Skalski
          * Stefan Kasper
          * TBC (World Snooker wildcard)

            Cheers Matt

            World Snooker need to sort it out, in any other sport the press would of had a press release by now with the full draw including wildcards, a full review of the qualifying and a preview of the main event.

                Why would Dominic Dale (currently ranked 33rd) have to play in the wildcard round and not Joe Swail (45th)?

                  No updates on the official draw, I guess.

                  So, potentially Jack Lisowski v Mark Williams and Anthony McGill v Ronnie O'Sullivan, right?
                  At least I could get to see their play, provided they get through the wildcard round..
                  All the way Mark J!!

                    Maybe not much of it though, eh montoya? Seeing who they're playing...

                    Anyway, we'll see what happens It's a pity Jimmy Robertson lost out at the final hurdle though

                      Well, that's true.
                      But it's better for them to play all-time greats in front of TV cameras, instead of perhaps Mark Allen or Jamie Cope.
                      No offense to their playing level at all. Just that they're younger and a lot closer to the youngsters in terms of generation.

                      And they have already won a good amount of ranking points, so, it may take some pressure off from their shoulders

                        As I said in the original blog post which is refferanced form my post above (http://www.thesnookerblog.com/2010/1...fying-results/) it should look SOMETHING like this.

                        &

                        The above prediction of the draw is just that a prediction, the official draw will be released soon and will be posted up then.

                          Yes, I know it's a prediction. Just wanted to point out that the only thing we do know for sure is the 8 players having to enter the wild card round. Dale and Trump won't, but Swail en Hamilton will.

                            • Well, I don't know, Wild.... That list is from the 11th of November (December?). The point cut happened the next day, the 12th of December and the new ranking list was supposed to show the seeded players for the German Masters and the Masters in which case it's John Higgins that is Number one, Neil Robertson Number two.

                                One Mr Ricky Walden is not a happy chappy I can tell you!
