Dont write off Steve so fast! His rating is 40 and he is 53 so he will stay for a while! And even if he retires-we will hear him in commentary box for a long time
PS: Who is Kurt Maflin? He is playing really well!
    PSS: will there be wildcards?

46 provisional and could easily be out of top 48, if he loses at the WC qualifiers.

I think the nugget will qualify for the crucible quite comfortably, the ginger magician will rise to the occasion.

you honestly think he can beat Lisowski and Lee.

cant see it in a million years mate although it would be brilliant if he could ...

but looking at the rankings if he doesent win his first match in the WC Qualifiers he will end the season at 50+ in the Rankings with 3 qualifying matches at the start of next season.

Top 48 would be HUGE for Jimmy!! Makes such a difference having to play one less qualifier, making a top 32 spot a real possibility next season!

Feel sorry for Ken missing the maximum, I think Tony would have given him a better game and keep going Jimmy all the way to China, and hopefully Ronnie will go if Jimmy is playing i am sure they will keep other company

Maximum is probably the only big thing he hasnt done in his carreer.
He might still have nightmares about missing the last black for a max at Masters!
