Don't forget that during last season he didn't enter the Uk and so his ranking points include a zero where everyone else got at least got seeded loser points so when they come off next season everybody else will have a minus from their running total where Jim won't suffer as theres nothing to remove. Last year was relatively bad points wise so all he needs is another season at least as good as this one (preferably better) to achieve top 32 status tho I think he'll be higher than that if he keeps up this current form, mark me.

Make sense? Check www.snooker.org and check the one year rankings for this season, might make more sense when considering this.

Jimmy is 28th on the one year list...not bad, and he has earned more points than Ronnie, Hendry, Day, King, and a few other higher ranked players.

Pretty amazing what hes doing considering his age and the all round improvement of other players, it goes to show how much he loves the game, Jimmy will always play snooker as long as he can walk and see!!

Yes, and he also had that huge blow by Adrian Gunnel ??? who came back from 1-4 down needing snookers to eventually win 5 - 4, for the rest of the season he had trouble getting over the line.

hmm..it sounds sad.i can't imagine one day people would have tuned in and see J Higgins or Ronnie O'sullivan just for the laugh.it sounds tad sensitive or insane though.
