Very interesting. Repeat of the '86 final. Also White v Thorburn should be very interesting.

I would have liked a more fair draw. Thorburn v Taylor, Johnson v Parrott, Davis v White.

          Good

the only thing i dont understand is Why is it limited to 9 players .

enough played at the qualifiers to have included them and make it a 16 man event like in 1991 where the likes of Mike Massey and Michael Ferreira played back then to make up the numbers.

Should be good. Anyone know the betting? I guess Ebdon is favourite yes?
Oh, and that's a bad miss.

Well, so much for Ebdon being a favorite...
Rather unexpected result, I think. But well done Nigel Bond.

Hmm, I'm not sure about that, I think Davis still has revenge on his mind!
Oh, and that's a bad miss.

Ain't got Sky either But anyway it's no use - they are going to show it recorded somewhere around Christmas, and no live broadcast it seems.

I was following the match on worldsnooker's livescore, and unless it was lying the final score is 2-0 to Bond.

Not that much of a surprise in Bond beating Ebdon. Bond has as good as chance as anyone in winning this event..

Yeah do realise that but he'll still remember '86. Let's hope we get Davis-Taylor again!
