Had email from WS - players & website will be informed of the draw next week - seems strange that PTC4 draw is out when Shangai closing date was a week earlier. Not a lot of notice.
Will Ding be able to take part in Shanghai qualifyers or will he be able to play his first match in China?

The reason its so late is probably because of the John Higgins affair. If he was found guilty or not before this week, he could take up his place in Shanghai, so there wouldn't have to be major confusion with seeding etc. Liu Song has been called up to fill a space in the Last 96.

There's no rush is there? They can just turn up on the day and find out who they play really - its pretty simple to work out:

Players ranked 65-96 -> 1st Round -> 2nd August
Players ranked 49-64 -> 2nd Round -> 3rd August
Players ranked 33-48 -> 3rd Round -> 4th August
Players ranked 17-32 -> 4th Round -> 5th August

Easy!

they've set-up the page for the draw on WSA site today so am gussing draw will be posted on there in next 24 hours

There will be 3 sessions a day using 6 tables. That's to leave 2 practice tables available
